Men's practice immersion

rewire your brain • reset your nervous system • remember who you really are

"We do not rise to the level of our expectations.

We fall to the level of our practice."

–Archilochus

most of us know this,

and yet few of us practice.

***

Because it's hard. Because life gets in the way. Because we are addicted to our phones and afraid of feeling our feelings and a million other reasons.

But when shit hits the fan (i.e. you get in a fight with your spouse, there is a family emergency, the zombie apocalypse happens, etc.) it's too late.

Now is the time to train your mind to stay present no matter what is going on; to train your nervous system to be adaptive to unpredictable circumstances; to expand your capacity to feel, express, be seen, and be known so that you can lead yourself and those who follow you with grace, tenacity, tendernes, and wit.

what happens here

Practice is an art. The results are a science.

Mind.

The mind can be tamed. Using ancient meditative practice adapted for the modern man, we will literally rewire your brain to make you more grounded, present, creative, and alive.

Body.

The body keeps the score. If practice does not penetrate the body – and the nervous system – it will never last. Using practices backed by science, we will create measurable shifts in your relationship to your body.

Soul.

Transformation is mysterious. There is a magic that occurs when you say yes to your own journey, and enter a relational field of safety with other men who are ready to change their lives.

Transformation does not happen in a vacuum. As important as the practices is the community.

what men are saying

Don't take my word for it.

"I've done therapy, retreats, breathwork, all of it. This is the first space where I didn't feel like I had to perform my healing. I just got to be a guy figuring it out, with other guys figuring it out."

who's tending the fire

Hey. I'm Albert.

I'm a meditation teacher, coach, and artist. I've spent the last 15+ years studying contemplative practice, facilitating group work, and...practicing.

Immersive practice has transformed my relationship with myself and my relationship with my world like nothing else. I believe it's what the world needs now more than ever.

I'm not a "meditation master." I'm a practitioner among practitioners. I just happen to be the one tending the fire.
